Privacy Policy
Last updated: 27 September 2026
KJournal is a habit tracker and daily journal. It was built so that your entries stay yours. In short: we don't collect, see, store or share any of your data.
What the app stores, and where
Your habits, the values you log, your daily highlights and notes, and your settings are stored:
- on your device, and
- if iCloud is turned on for your Apple Account, in your own private iCloud database, so they sync between your iPhone, iPad and Mac.
Data in your iCloud is handled by Apple under Apple's Privacy Policy. We have no access to it. There is no KJournal account and no KJournal server.
What we collect
Nothing. KJournal contains no analytics, no advertising, no tracking and no third-party code that sends data anywhere. We don't know who uses the app or how.
Face ID
If you turn on the app lock, iOS checks your face or passcode on the device. KJournal only receives "unlocked" or "not unlocked"; it never sees biometric data.
Home-screen widget
The widget shows a summary of the current month. The app shares that summary with the widget on your device through an App Group; it never leaves your device except as part of your own backups.
Exporting and deleting your data
- Export: Settings → Export to CSV saves all your data as a file you control.
- Delete: deleting the app removes the data from the device. To remove the synced copy, go to iOS Settings → [your name] → iCloud → Manage Storage (Manage Account Storage) → KJournal → Delete Data.
Children
KJournal collects no personal data from anyone, including children.
Changes
If this policy changes, the new version will be posted on this page with a new date.
